this afternoon, i went out for a short walk to the in-campus botanical garden. it's been years since i last went here. the last time i think i was still a student, on emo mode and reading tinio plays. not good. this trip, however, was a good one. i got to see the chimps. :)

i bought a teeny tiny web camera today, so that i can chat with tito marit in canada. hahaha. i never bothered with one before. it's branded "berry-tini" and it is. it's very low-res though, pixellates all over, but it's okay for me, since i'm not planning to be the next youtube star anyway. basically i bought it for its look; the other webcams look so bulky and uh, un-cute. and it has its own pouch! haha. i put the scrabble tile there for scale :)

when i get bored while waiting for webpages to load, or when my brain ceases to focus on work, i doodle a lot. i use a board or a paper for my mousepad; and before the workweek is over the sheet's already full of sketches. it's what i do to give my brain a break. :) and it works, too: after realizing how much time i'd spent doodling, i get back to work. heheh.

i was fixing some stuff in my little corner at home when i found something i made a few months ago. it was dated february 11, and behind it was written "thought about this ever since receiving the yellow paddles." the paddles i now use as a keychain on my backpack. :) try as i might i'm preschool-ish when i attempt to draw or paint. hahaha. that's why i stick to photography! :P

i was in the bus on the way to work today when i realized something: i wasn't able to take any photos for yesterday! i was too preoccupied with writing that i completely forgot. boo.

what do people with a daily project do when they forget one day? do they make up for it and make two for the next day, in my case, take two photos for today to make up for yesterday?

it will still be daily photos, right (just missed out on one day, like a sick day at school)? what matters is that i still see everyday's little things. whew. that makes me feel so much better. okay then. hahaha. here's my 'today's photo for yesterday':

I love P.E. When I was in college, we had gym, social dance, basketball, and handball.

I miss playing volleyball.

I'd like to learn arnis. (Someone forgot her P.E. uniform at home.)

Another sport I'd like to take up. I'll probably love football, with all that running around on grass.

These kids in blue are warming up for sepak takraw. In the University it's a "for-boys-only" sport, but I don't see why.

On Tuesday we celebrated the 82nd birthday of Sir Cas, our special consultant for our radio units. We had a party in the office.

Even Fr. Deng joined us, and we toasted to Sir Cas's good health and for his "hundred more years." We put our wine in whatever glasses we could find. I used an empty cleaned coffee jar.
